And Italy is kicked out in the group stage for two world cups in a row o_o certainly a very bad record

Also the World Cup is slowly turning into the Copa America.

Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and Colombia will be in the same quarter. Tough break for them.

It's even more disgusting that the referee didn't do anything to him. And this costed him a 10 games ban before. But they just expelled an italian player from the game for a stupid reason ._.

That's FIFA for you. Clearly they are biased towards Europeans. But after UEFA dared to raise against Septic a couple of weeks ago, what did I expected -_-

The Italian red card was a definite red card. Maybe the referee didn't see the Suarez incident, the ball was on the other side of the pitch when it happened.

FIFA needs to review the videos though.

Well, having just seen replays, I wasn't sure but now I've seen that picture of his shoulder & bite marks, that puts it beyond doubt in my mind. It's Suarez's 3rd recorded bite (he bit a player in the Netherlands when he was at Ajax), & he should be banned for a long time, perhaps life. No place for that in football

Why the hell is there only one ref on the field? The pitch is like 900 miles long. Basketball has three refs for a surface 1/10th the size. It makes no sense to me.

there is one field ref and two refs on the side lines - each one is resp. for one half of the field...
