Scotguy 330
Continued my yearly tradition by buying the album and listening to all the songs. There are too many of the same sounding song this year and not enough up tempo songs. A weak Eurovision year this year.

But it has Slovenia, best ESC song in years for me.

StefanMUC 688
Well this seems to have fallen flat on here this time Anyway, Semi 1 tonight at 8 BST. It's quite a "flat" year songwise anyway...still looking forward to going to Vienna for the Jury Final on Friday.
AmaniS 5
Personally, I thought the songs and singers were much better than the last few years.I wanted to buy the album. Only 2 of my favorites got into the finals. Will see on Thursday.
TorchbearerSydney 247
Australia is straight into the final, so will skip the semis!
StefanMUC 688
It was an incredibly crap show, both in production and song/performance quality. Only one I really liked was Estonia.
yoshi 346
And the second semi is tonight, another 17 countries going at it. Anyone know what's happened to CAF, haven't seen him on here in ages - he's normally all over this
Sir Rols 1901
Anyone know what's happened to CAF, haven't seen him on here in ages - he's normally all over this He's in Vienna - just caught his pics from the occasion on Facebook.
The Tower Bridge Fox 48
I'm not hearing Sweden as the best song, I think since the success Mammea came out people just assume Sweden is a good bet for Eurovision, so the bookies place it above its merit. Italy just says winner , but operatic songs don't have a good track record. Last year I made a wild prediction that Spain would win this year. the Spanish song doesn't sound like the winner but I cant help feeling it may be a surprise finisher mays be top three, I love the UK entry ,any thing could happen with a song like that. StefanMUC 688
I have just attended the Jury Final. While faves Sweden, Russia, Australia will surely do well, I think Italy at the end can really do it. But watch out for Belgium and the stunning girl from Latvia. Both not exactly MOR stuff, but came across very very strong tonight. UK fully deserves last place though will have to battle with Poland and Germany like in 2008 I guess. Best song remains Slovenia, which was delivered very well tonight, but the draw buries it.
yoshi 346
So, tonight's the night. Hoping for an exciting vote, with a close result
Ikarus360 599
I have a feeling either Russia, Sweden or Italy would win. I know many placed Estonia among the favorites but their song is not my cup of tea. Also Spain, as much as I want them to win, has always had a terrible luck at the ESC. The Tower Bridge Fox 48
So the small bets I have placed Italy to win Spain each way Greece eachway Austria eachway Estonia Eachway
Ikarus360 599
The philarmonic is a nice touch considering Vienna is the music capital for many The Intro is sooo much better than Copenhagen 2014 so far.
Ikarus360 599
The parade of the flags and the sea of lights kind of reminds me of Malmo 2013 though.
The Tower Bridge Fox 48
I forgot I also placses an each way bet on Isreal Great show!!!!!!!!
