dtd2
I'm awake and watching USA VS Finland in women's hockey on NBC Sports Network. Except, they had no audio at their anchor desk or in the commentary box, so the game is going on with just the raw audio. Go USA! And its a goal 53 seconds in for USA! And 3 minutes into the game, audio from the commentary team finally started!
ScholaOsloensis
Prediction for slopestyle. Maxence Mcmorris Sandbech Canadians trying to lower expectations in their own thread lol, yea, well you guys are okay. Max Parrot on a different level since x games, looks ridiculously comfortable and scoring 97-98 with ease. I don't know what's going on with the scoring on Mcmorris, but I expect him to do something in the finals despite the pain. Judges can't keep undervaluing him. 2 runs only, so we might see some favs with a failed competition. Sage Kotsenburg on the podium would be nice. ScholaOsloensis
Good podium, I agree, but don't know who I fear the most, us or canada overall. Both look very strong with the new events. But Kotsenburg is a good snowboarder. Alright, here we go. Exciting! Start list: 1. Yuki Kadono. - 24 McMorris Mark CAN 2 next - - - - - - 22 Kotsenburg Sage USA 3 - - - - - - - 1 Morgan Billy GBR 4 - - - - - - - 14 Nicholls Jamie GBR 5 - - - - - - - 16 Braaten Gjermund NOR 6 - - - - - - - 7 Toutant Sebastien CAN 7 - - - - - - - 21 Thorgren Sven SWE 8 - - - - - - - 12 Piiroinen Peetu FIN 9 - - - - - - - 18 Tonteri Roope FIN 10 - - - - - - - 8 Sandbech Staale NOR 11 - - - - - - - 19 Parrot Maxence CAN

ScholaOsloensis
That was a lot of missed runs for the favs. Lots of nerves in play now. Really feel they should have 3 runs in the final. Parrot still the fav for me. All or nothing. If he lands it, he'll beat 94. Happy if one of our guys just survives a decent run.

ScholaOsloensis
Emotional scenes from the ski stadium in Sochi; the female norwegian ski team huddled in tears before and during medal ceremony. Astrid Jacobsen, a female skier participating in Sochi, lost her brother yesterday. He was a friend and training mate for several of the skiers. ScholaOsloensis
Jesus, this is tense right now. 40 yr old biathlon legend Ole Einar Bjørndalen leading at finish.Very close. Several racers can still take it, including most dangerous Lukas Hofer, yet to shoot standing. Edit: Hofer misses. wow, speechless.
