SkiFreak
The Calgary Tower cauldron will be lit in the evenings from 5:00 to 6:00 each time a Canadian Athlete will win gold according to CTV: http://calgary.ctvnews.ca/torch-on-top-of-tower-burns-for-gold-1.1673668 At Canada Olympic Park they lit the small venue cauldron today... The lighters were ski jumper Alex Pretorius and Robyn Ainsworth (nee Perry) who lit the cauldron at McMahon Stadium during the opening ceremony of the Calgary 1988 Winter Olympics. Kenadian
The Vancouver cauldron is a permanent fixture at Jack Poole Plaza on the Waterfront. And trust me, it gets lit a lot and people still flock to it to snap photos.

Tony E Loves Architecture
I didn't know where else to put this but, I'm surprised that the organisers of Athens 2004 didn't put the Cauldron over the 2 Arches, so 2 Arches of lines of fire, if you get what I mean.
