Sir Rols
And then there were two, We say goodbye to alphacarter's submission. Well done for a new entrant to these comps, and as I mentioned when you first posted, a great way to introduce yourself to GamesBIds! Thanks, sorry you missed out, and I hope we see you back next year! After checking and tallying of votes, I discounted the vote from luan (again). This gave us 41 votes, keeping up our heavy turnout this year where every round has surpassed forty votes. The results from round two were: Dannyelbrazil A: 14 alphacarter B: 8 aismanggo C: 19 No clear majority, so we now go into a third round and final vote with the two logos above. The rules for this stage are: This voting round will be open for (approximately) 24 hours - it will close after 7am, Tuesday January 7, Sydney time (8pm Jan 6 GMT). The logo with an absolute majority at close of poll will be declared the winner. Vote in the poll for your favourite logo. You have ONE vote, so make it count. Your vote is public and can be seen by all. Entrants MAY vote for their own logo (though two votes for the same logo by relatives will count as one). Votes are valid if cast by members of GamesBids as of December 31 2013 with a bona fide posting record. I will rule on the validity of any suspicious or disputed votes, or who constitutes a bona fide voting member. I will not vote in this, unless a tie-breaker vote is needed to crown the final winner. Be fair and sportsmanlike, this is meant to be fun and the entrants all deserve our respect. If any contenders have any complaints or disputes, PM me and I'll rule on them. Bonne chance, good luck and may the best logo win! Get those formal clothes ready - we'll be having an announcement celebration tomorrow!

baron-pierreIV
No clear majority. That means there is NO CLEAR winner. I'm done w/ the T voting. Let's just move on to Krung Thep 2026.
Sir Rols
Just to bump this up, but also a couple of interesting points to mention. If Afiq had not been generous and voted for a rival logo in round one, his brother would have won two days ago. Good sport Afiq! And I hope it hasn't started a sibling rift! Also, I was going to note yesterday, but was out most of the day - the top three saw the elimination of the last of the T's. The maple leafs won! baron-pierreIV
Would it be a good idea to have a "None of the Above" option in the voting??

runningrings
Again B has two skyscapers that are not a part of the skyline of the city. As it is supposed to also resemble a burst of ice shards, it is obviously necessary to fabricate things a little. Besides, this is 2026. In the end, I have voted fro B. Originality concerns aside, its a fantastic and high-quality logo. Congrats.
Tony E Loves Architecture
B is deffiently a better logo. A is good, but B is my favorite. I have stuck with that logo all the way and I stick by it now. Love Skyscrapers and Nice Graphics.
Athensfan
Would it be a good idea to have a "None of the Above" option in the voting?? Much as I resonate with the above comment, I voted in this last round. I'm not in love with either, but the kinetic energy of A is much more compelling than the cold, corporate angularity of B. A blends the maple leaf with ski tracks while also suggesting fireworks, a snowflake, the Olympic flame and snow spray. The rough edged quality gives it distinctive character. Between these two options, I think it's definitely the stronger and more unique design.

Victor Mata
Again B has two skyscapers that are not a part of the skyline of the city. Those are clearly the buildings of the Toronto City Hall. What's with you, man?

Palette86
I voted B. Although the letters "TORONTO 2026" were big in entire part, this was superior to A. Sophisticated .
intoronto
Those are clearly the buildings of the Toronto City Hall. What's with you, man? I think I am qualified to say something about a place I live in. The buildings immediately surrounding the CN Tower are not City Hall. For a building I partly work in, I would think I know how they look

If anyone wants to state their reasons to vote for this or that design, fine. But don't pick silly excuses.

The buildings immediately surrounding the CN Tower are not City Hall. For a building I partly work in, I would think I know how they look To be fair to that logo, those two buildings beside the CN Tower give the logo the shape of a maple leaf and also give definition to the features of the CN Tower. So I can see why it's shaped that way. But A looks more Olympic-y. Someone else brought it up before, that B looks like a logo that NBC would use. Gotta go with A at this point. nzl
The Toronto city hall buildings would be the 2nd and 4th to last coloured buildings. Down on the right side but still in colour.
