Has anyone seen them yet? I've looked for them, they aren't yet up on the LA84 site. Can't seem to find them. Have they been published yet? I think there are 3 volumes? Thanks.

Actually that's the report of the IOC Coordinating Commission, not the final report from LOCOG. Every report up to 2010 is up on the LA84 website, but I can't seem to find the 2012 report anywhere, if anyone has it and could post a link that would be great.

Thanks!

This is LOGOC's final report. It was published a few months ago.

(another report from The National Audit Office http://www.nao.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/1213794.pdf )

No that is not the final report.

From memory the Beijing report that I have a copy of came out a couple of years after the games. I don't think it has been published yet.

Dear Ktoles,

The moral of all the above is "be careful what you wish for".

You are referring to the official report by LOCOG to the IOC, which was presented in session last week, and may well be nominally in three volumes. There are, however, other London 2012 "Official Reports" (and even LOCOG "Final Reports"), all of which contain valuable information.

As far as I know, there is no obligation for the LOCOG-to-IOC report to be made available online, but sooner or later, no doubt, LA84 or some other organisation (possibly nationalarchives.gov.uk ) will do the job.

Says though that the 2nd volume is the official commemorative book which clearly isn't right...

Funnily enough, I think you're probably wrong. If you compare the apparently anomalous London Volume 2 with Volume 2 of Beijing's Official Report it turns out that they are very similar. I think LOCOG just killed two birds with one stone and designed their Volume 2 so it could easily be sold as "The Official Commemorative Book".

Also of interest- the 2012 Results volume has been treated as semi-separate from the Official Report, and presumably does not exist in hard-copy, because it's 5,255 pages long!

As of Vancouver 2010, the Official Commemorative Book, should an OCOG chose to produce one, is the volume 2 of the Official Report.

Likewise, as of Vancouver 2010, only volume 2 is requested to be printed, the rest of the report being only in electronic version.
