TheOtherRob
What? You didn't reference the GB story instead?! http://gamesbids.com/eng/featured/paris-2024-set-to-boost-campaign-with-new-olympic-bid-logo-and-website/ Sorry, at work, not much time and happened to saw the ItG story on Twitter. Ikarus360
My guess is the Arc de Trioumphe will be the logo, and it would represent a gateway for all the athletes and people of the world to gather on Paris? Lets wait and see.

yoshi
Was expecting it to come up here within a couple of minutes. I'll take the liberty: http://gamesbids.com/eng/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Parislogosmall.jpg

baron-pierreIV
I've seen it..very nice but a little wonky. But it's a good eye-teaser; and of course, this is just the big logo.
yoshi
Well that was an epic fail. Take 2: http://gamesbids.com/eng/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Parislogosmall.jpg
TheOtherRob
The only thing I don't like about it is the heavy/black typeface. On black with the text in white it really sings... https://twitter.com/Nick_Varley/status/697140249743462403 Edited February 9, 2016 by Rob. hektor
Nice that the logo looks like a large

It'll get changed anyway for the real thing. But I really like this compared to Vancouver, Sochi and PC.

baron-pierreIV
Also, if you look closely, it's Paris doing this ....
Ikarus360
Simple but elegant, and i can clearly see the number 4 shaping up in the form of the Eiffel Tower. Looks like this bid race has preferred so far to pick minimalist logos, since the Rome one also follows up on a similar style (both the logo and typography)
neige
https://www.facebook.com/Paris2024/ I like it!
JO2024
I quite like it. Simple and yet eye-catching. I love that this is colourful, not only blue white and red, I love that the Eiffel Tower is not THAT obvious, I love that it shapes into 24, and I hate the font. mr.bernham
I like it. Clean, elegant, simple, and colorful. The font could go though, that's a fail.
JO2024
Oh my bad, I didn't notice that if you look at the top of the logo you get the blue, white and red from the French flag.
woohooitsme83
It's so beautiful :') Except for that font. The font is pretty meh.
baron-pierreIV
I'm fine with the font. And obviously, the black is for the bad year Paris had last year.
neige
There are only 4 olympic colours in the Eiffel tower. So, the black font may be for the black ring.
adrianme17
BOF! It's ok - just a bit "bof" as my French friends would say!
Mr Tickle
I like it. Im fine with the font too. A nice and simple word mark it lets the logo shine. So far they are doing everything right, even introducing the logo as Your Paris 2024 logo rather than Our Paris 2024 logo. Keep up the good work Paris
Athan
Are the candidate cities not allowed to use the "[City] + [Year] + Candidate City" pattern anymore? Both Rome and Paris are using "[City] + Candidate City + Olympic Games [Year]" instead.
