To compare with other editions of the Olympic Games. I prefer the Paris 2024 program much more (well, if we just judge the cover); we're finally moving away from minimalism, from sobriety (and yet I like it, but it's really... too much), while being elegant, and above all by reminding us in which country we are.

Or the versions sold in the US, when Time-Life Pubs. still had an Official Partnership deal with the IOC, Time-Life re-published and/or distributed the Official Programmes in the US back then.  But so much has moved digitally now that -- I can't imagine what the deal is.

So reading between the lines, I'm guessing that means it might be available in Smiths (for non Brits they're basically the only chain newsagents that'd have such a thing) in the UK, but probably only in London? Might stand a chance in Birmingham or Manchester maybe?

It’ll be in-between the Taylor Swift Eras Tour souvenir programs and the Euro 2024 Harry Kane pin-up poster mags.

You've been in some I take it  I doubt there'll be too many Harry Kane pin up mags after tonight's debacle

Hmm, is that only for the digital version or does that let you buy the print version too? I'd much rather have a print version to have by my side however many devices I'm watching on

Only digital and, according to the terms and conditions, it will only be accessible on a web page during the Games, download will only be available after Paralympics and everything will be shut down on October 1...

Digital ≠ physical! You can only buy a downloadable version on that site.

Don't know if it's the same in Portuguese, but in French, we're tricked by the English word "digital": in French, «digital» is everything related to fingers...

Well that's not much use if it gets switched off after October is it? I'd think for anyone interested in this, it'd partly be for a lasting souvenir of the games. That makes an even bigger advantage for the print (or physical if that makes translation easier) version.

Don't worry, in portuguese we have that too in a bit of lesser scale, altough i don't think we have as much trouble with that in here. "Digital" at least in Brasil means fingerprints when it relate to the things on the hand most of the time. Very important, but the context of digital in the tech sense is different enough. And also, yeah, digital version of the programme which means i doesn't need to worry about shipping costs pricing me out of actually getting it. Thanks for the concern, though!

If you buy it, but don't download it between September 9 and September 30, you won't be able to download or even read it anymore.

US Olympic and other teams will bring their own AC units to Paris, undercutting environmental plan

If it’s those portable aircons, I’d rather go with the heat. They’re as noisy af

There are real quiet ones now.  If they are importing them from the US--mostly Japanese-made, I hope it's the right voltage and the right PLUGS.    All those euro male elec plugs and the holes can be REALLY pesky!!

The Agitos are also now up on the Arc de Triomphe:

pretty neat and significant that the Agitos are being displayed at the same time as the Olympic Rings!
