Oracle has chickened out of race 6 pulling their once only cancellation card.

End of racing for the day.

COWARDICE!!!

But it is allowed. Clearly Oracle dont want to race in conditions that favour TNZ.

And Team NZ still has theirs up the sleave.

:( Oracle really now has no insurance against gear failure, a dangerous move. More advantage to Team NZ.

Can't wait for the post race press conference...watch the name calling ramp up!

Mmmm, completely legal tactic, but very disappointing, but I guess they gotta do what they gotta do.

Jebus though, those Oracle boys looked like their mother and 6 of her best friends had just been run over by a trolley bus. They were so dejected, which of course they should be.

Im sure they'll come back in some form, I just think they may have a bit too much work to do though.

An extraordinary day at the Americas cup. A brilliant come from behind victory for ETNZ! Oracle running scared in the second race. There will be some real navel gazing for Oracle over the next day. They have a lot to do. For Team New Zealand 4 down and 5 to go!

A fifth win would be a major psyco boost for NZ...the so called 'hump' race.

Do not underestimate the strength of Oracle...five behind but well within strike distance.

Yep there is still a long way to go. Another couple of wins will be just what the doctor orders

well oracle needs only 10 to take it  ...a bid daunting to say the least.

seems like they had a vibe they were going to start winning races after 4 then when they got spanked after the lead in 5 by a better working team and boat after very odd mistakes, it hink they HAD to just go full stop and get their heads on. i did like his attitude in the press conf. but sounds like maybe too many decisions to be made and issues to be analyzed before another race starts, wonder what changes will happen?

Larry Ellison looks to be taking a more hands on role from tomorrow as Oracle Team USA tries to find a way to beat Team NZ and move into a positive points position.

It is also expected that Ben Anslie will join the on board crew, where ever in a skipper role or to assist current helmsman James Spithall.

Interesting tactic Baron...Been done before by Australia in 1987 when they tried to defend it. Alan Bond sent out Page 3 topless models to distract teams while they were racing.

Ben Anslie on board Oracle today...working on tactics how to get around Team NZs unbelievable ability to sail around them on the upwind leg to power away.

Looks like he's going to be part of the afterguard onboard tomorrow.
