Istanbul bid is its main advertiser and Gamesbids thanks them with a scandalous favouritism: 42 topics for Istanbul, 24 for Tokyo and 19 for Madrid. Approximately every week Gamesbids.com publishes an article praising Istanbul, which always starts with "X boosts Istanbul bid...", being or not being an important topic. Perhaps one of these weeks they will publish that having the longest name among the three candidate cities boosts Istanbul bid as well :-) Even a very secondary section, the poll, changed in two days, passing from Tokyo leading several thousand votes ahead to Istanbul leading several thousand votes ahead.
