Olympic Fan Darcy
Greta Small looked like she did the slalom very well. 4 have gone and 2 haven't finished. Looks extremely hard!

Fox334
Dale Begg-Smith ended up finishing 19th in Q1 and 15th in Q2. Two Australians qualified from Q1 and of those two Matt Graham is already qualified for Q2 (top 12).
Olympic Fan Darcy
Disappointing. No Aussies in the final
dancingbrogues
I've been impressed by the australians taking losses on the chin. Torah B and Dale BS were gracious and funny, unlike Bode 'the clouds, the clouds' Miller!
Sir Rols
Daniel Grieg falls down in the mens 500m speed skating Poor fella was devastated after. So sad to watch.
TorchbearerSydney
Australia is starting to get a few 'unlucky' breaks.... just missing finals, crashing in practice, not quite nailing runs, falling in events etc.... I hope it doesn't become a trend! There is so much promise in this team.
Sir Rols
This us the winter games though, it's more par for the course for us. For all the hype on Ten, it's really always only really been Torah in the half pipe, Chumpy in the board cross and Lydia hopefully overcoming the Chinese in the aerials as our realistic chances. Olympic Fan Darcy
Well begg smith was a real chance but I'm sure the fact he stopped competing for 3 years hurt his ability.
Fox334
Begg-Smith was really just fighting for bronze - Kingsbury and Bilodeau where outrageously dominating this year.
Olympic Fan Darcy
Begg-Smith was really just fighting for bronze - Kingsbury and Bilodeau where outrageously dominating this year. Still, that would've put us on the medal tally.
Olympic Fan Darcy
Couple Aussies up tonight. Ladies sprint free qualification cross-country with Esther Bottomley. Qualification at 8pm and there is quarter finals and semi finals. The final is supposedly on at 11:22pm. Mens sprint free qualification cross-country with Phillip Bellingham and Callum Watson. Qualification 8:25pm. quarter finals and semi's. And the final is at 11:30. Ladies ski slopestyle qualification freestyle skiing with Anna Segal. According to channel 10 (not they have gotten the others right) she is a real chance. She's won medals before at other ski slopestyle events including Gold at the 2011 world ski championships. Qualifying is at 4pm and the final is at 7pm. Mens halfpipe qualification snowboard with Scotty James (who we remember from earlier in the week), Nathan Johnstone and Kent Callister. Qualifying is at 8pm, semi at 1am and final at 3:30am. Really, really hoping we can get a medal tonight.

Olympic Fan Darcy
No offense to her because she seems like an amazing person but Torah Bright and her family need to quit bitching about the halfpipe course. They have been constantly whinging about it. I've been talking to a bunch of people (who don't know olympics) and they simply know her as "the girl that complains". The whining is probably annoying the organizers and perhaps the very people who will judge her! She needs to keep her mouth shut.

Fox334
Kent Callister might be born in California and might be living in Oregon, but his great uncle created Vegemite. Definitively would have been a travesty if he represented any country other than Australia. He looks like a decent snowboarder, too.
Olympic Fan Darcy
Callister and Johnstone have qualified for the semi's. Off to bed but got the alarm set for 3:30am hopefully both guys make it to the finals.

nykfan845
Take a joke. There was no comedic context in that post whatsoever, so excuse me for taking what you said as mocking as such.
Olympic Fan Darcy
Kent Callister only gets 68.5 in his final run and is currently in 7th. But best performance for an Aussie male in halfpipe final ever. Interesting to see what happens to Shaun White.
