Olympic Fan Darcy
This is becoming a disaster. The amount of mistakes. i originally blamed the athletes but apparently the weather is too warm causing the snow to be softer or some crap haha. Not sure but come on Anna Segal! Faster
Its too warm. The snowboarders have been saying it is making it harder to land as well and it had an impact on the moguls yesterday.

Olympic Fan Darcy
Kim Lamarre definitely would have beaten the Australian Damnit. The Canadian overtook the Australian. Argh.

Faster
Bullsh!t that was better than her qualification run and she scored 0.4 less.
Olympic Fan Darcy
Bullsh!t that was better than her qualification run and she scored 0.4 less. At least she got a medal. Australia is yet to medal yet 3rd place only to lose it on the last person who could beat her. Couldn't be more devastated right now.

Sir Rols
Congrats Canada! Thought we might have had a bronze there. Event I enjoyed watching the best so far. Nice to have one where you're biting your nails with a real chance.

Faster
Seriously what happened to Chandra Crawford? It is so rare for an athlete to have a one-off like that.
JLishere
I have to say, the snow conditions were terrible compared to snowboard. Soft snow means the skiers have to deal with unpredictable landings and not getting as much speed (resulting in some of the crashes); whenever you saw an athlete land one jump but skip the next is because they knew they didn't have enough speed to carry their jump. dave199
Seriously what happened to Chandra Crawford? It is so rare for an athlete to have a one-off like that. Didn't she win the gold in this event in 2006? Wow what a big drop off since then.

Fox334
At the rate we're going I would hardly be surprised to see Alex Beaulieu-Marchant winning the men's ski slopestyle, not because he's a favourite but because of how well the rest of the Canadian freestyle skiing team is doing. This is reminiscent of the 2011 worlds, where Canada won six of the ten Olympic events (plus both Dual Moguls). We're actually outpacing those championships at this point, since we didn't win the men's moguls or the women's slopestyle there.
intoronto
Didn't she win the gold in this event in 2006? Wow what a big drop off since then. She did and in 2006 it was in the classical style like in Sochi. Vancouver's was freestyle. I honestly don;t know what happened with her. Its her last Olympics as well. 2 medals today

Faster
We've already left 6 medals on the table. Thankfully 5 of them have been marginal, but those are the ones that needed to come through in order for Canada to push the 30 medal mark.
Gangwon
^^ So we are no longer projected to hit 30 medals?
Faster
As of now SI had Canada at 5-4-5. So down 4 medals (Guay, Gagnon, Toutant, Gough, Harvey and O'Brien but gained one from Lemarre), so if we stay on pace (most of the marginal predictions have past) we are on pace for 27 medals. As for Infostrada, Canada has missed on 3 medals (Parrot, Gough and Harvey) and gained none. On pace for 30 medals, but they gave Canada 3 medals in speed skating that are marginal.
