Sir Rols
So I guess we'll be seeing a LOT more of TeamRik now.
Citius Altius Fortius
I hoped for San Francisco, but I am glad that L.A. wasn't pick. "New England" is a kind of new territory for Summer Olympics!!

Yeah, LA would have left me cold. I could get excited about Boston. But now that SF's out I'm really hoping for Hamburg.
mr.bernham
Now that San Francisco's out I'm backing Paris and Berlin. So I guess we'll be seeing a LOT more of TeamRik now. We could always limit his posts if things ever got out of hand, which I don't think they will. Or at least I hope they don't.

illustrado
i'm a bit butthurt that LA did not get the win. but we must not cry over spilled milk. i'm beginning to feel that durban gets this time
baron-pierreIV
i'm beginning to feel that durban gets this time I think Durban is wise NOT to run in 2024 because it'll probably head to Europe. The IOC got their first 1st-world sacrificial lamb in Boston, thanks to the USOC.

Are you also going to tell him how "Boston's not going to win. It's going down like NYC and Chicago. Bunch of amateurs there at the USOC."? I'm sure he'll appreciate that sentiment from you as well

Durban Sandshark
Boston? I don't think so! I'm throwing my support towards Johannesburg/Durban, Paris, or Hamburg/Copenhagen.
baron-pierreIV
Yup. Mr. Romney is getting back in the spotlight for 2016. Was right. If Romney runs again and wins in 2016 and gets re-elected in 2020; and Boston wins 2024; then it will have a former governor and resident of the state opening the 2024 Games. woohooitsme83
Welp, I think it's about time I've accepted the situation. Go Boston! here's a map from the Boston Herald[1] : and here's some renderings from NBC[2] : Still don't like that logo tho
ChrisValentine
Those renderings are very underwhelming. Only in one of them can you even remotely tell its Boston (the 3rd picture has the Prudential and Hancock towers waaaay in the background)
Usa2024olympics
On the Bostinno they explain what the renderings are, the first three are the olympic village and the other is the aquatic center.
