Not surprising, and well deserved. Mentioning London is a great response to any Melburnian who claims that Melbourne is the world's "sporting capital". I'm a Melbourne boy originally and could wax lyrical everything great about that city, but I loathe that "sports capital" title. I would say Melbourne is a strong contender for no.2 - along with LA.

Uhm, about those awards...Auckland is "medium-size" and Calgary "small"? Aren't they both about the same, Calgary even bigger as city proper without Metro Area?

Makes it all a bit arbitrary.

Cars were made in the US buddy, I believe we decided which was the right side ;)

Looks like the games failed in inspire at least one member of a generation.

Well, the left is actually the correct side, as knights used to ride on the left to access their swords easily, as many were right handed.
