I like the idea of an outdoor weightlifting venue.

I really don't understand the notion of a second stadium just for the ceremonies on the Bosphorus. It seems wasteful. Does Istanbul actually NEED another stadium? Bizarre.

I would really like to see the travel times between all these venues -- not the "projected" travel times, but actual ones.

Exactly building a second venue seems bizarre. Why can't they use the Olympic Stadium and save money?

I still can't quite get my head around this bid like I can the other two, which is weird because it's the only city of the three I've been to. It seems like they had a big brainstorming meeting, came up with lots of ideas and then just put them all in there! There's some great ideas but it feels like lots of unrelated bits in my head at the moment. Love the renders and could see the Games being great fun, but having trouble connecting it all up...

I'm not explaining myself very well.....bleeerughh...

I think that's fair, Rob. Istanbul isn't labeling things clearly or presenting them in an organized way. The overall plan may work, but the information is coming in bits and pieces that make it difficult to get a sense of the big picture.

OR...Istanbul is just too BIG and there's no way they can FUDGE making the plan look like a compact, viable one. Just saying...

Well I understand you Rob, Istanbul is amazing and everything seems ver exciting. But the logictics aren't really good... I could be a big challenge but I belive that 7 years is enough time to correct transport issues that could make access to all venues easier.
