Canoeing at the 2012 Summer Olympics

Today (July 29) starts the debut of the canoeing events at London 2012. The first four events of this sport occur from now until the medal events on July 31, August 1 and 2. After those events are concluded, the sprints takes over. They start on August 6 and concludes on August 11.

Today, the canoe slalom single and kayak events for men starts with the heats.

Today (July 30) sees that this day is the final day for heats in this sport of canoe slalom. This time, they are for the men's canoe double (C2) and women's kayak (K1) events.

After a 3-day break, the canoeing events continue. This time, it is the sprint events that makes its debut. Semifinals highlight the men's kayak single (K1) 1,000m, men's canoe single (C1) 1,000m, men's kayak double (K2) 1,000m, and the women's kayak four (K4) 500m events for August 6.
