Good job by the US men, though I'l admit I was pulling for an upset. Events where the same countries win all the time get boring (same reason why I root against China in diving and why I've given up all hope on Synchronized Swimming).

It's almost single handedly worth it due to Kevin Duran now being Olympic champion, though.

Thieves steal London Olympics bronze medal of Russian basketball player

A bronze medal of the Summer Olympics was stolen from the apartment of Russian basketball Vitaly Fridzon, who defended the colors of the Russian national team in London. The theft was committed in the Moscow suburb of Khimki, where the athlete lives.

The information about the theft arrived on Saturday afternoon from a 27-year resident of the Bryansk region. The name of the victim was not specified in the release.

"The young man said that unknown people broke into his home at night of August 25 and stole the bronze medal of the XXX Olympic Games in London. The intruders also stole two pairs of Swiss watches, a mobile phone, a laptop, a camera and a tablet computer," officials said.

"The medal was stolen from Vitaly Fridzon, a defender of the Khimki basketball club," the source said.
