Citius Altius Fortius
All four teams can still qualify - the table of Group B looks like this before the last two matches on sunday jun 17th: Deutschland 3:1 6 points Portugal 3:3 3 points Danmark 3:3 3 points Nederland 1:3 0 points Edited June 16, 2012 by Citius Altius Fortius
Faster
I would say that Germany vs. Denmark will play to the draw, but I just cannot see a line-up of Ozil, Podolski, Muller, Gomez, Klose and Schweinsteiger being blanked by the Danish defense. I would like to see a draw and a Dutch win in the other game. Portugal has had 3 halves of strong defensive play but the Danish just cut through them in the 2nd half of the last game. I definately think Schneijder will take control of the team like he did against Brazil and lead a successful charge. Ronaldo's form looks terrible. Ironically the late Portuguese goal has made these games likely to be interesting, a draw in that game for Denmark would have seen them and the Germans play one boring as hell draw. But Netherlands 3 - 1 Portugal Germany 3 - 0 Denmark Germany and Netherlands through to play Greece and Czech Republic. Ikarus360
Portugal 2 - Netherlands 1 Germany 2 - Denmark 1 Bye bye, Denmark, you did your best. I can't say the same for Netherlands. A complete disastrous team. And as expected, Germany is the first in the group, so the quarter finals are Czeck Republic vs Portugal and Germany vs Greece. Rob2012
Go Portugal! Wonderful on the counter, so fast, some superb balls into space. Great to watch. Holland are simply not a team. Deserve to go out. Massively underwhelming considering their players.
Citius Altius Fortius
I watched the match in a street cafe again (we had a lovely warm and sunny sunday today) The Danish team played well and clever, but I think the German team was better and therefore the victory of Germany was justified... intoronto
Can't believe Portugal won! Especially after the first Dutch goal.
Olympian2004
What an exciting evening! And it sure was a nail-biter for quite a few minutes, after Portugal had gained the lead against the Netherlands and Germany was in serious risk of getting a second Danish goal. What a relief it was when Lars Bender scored! It's a historic premiere for Germany, by the way -- never before has it won all three group matches at a EURO. Remarkable that they achieved that in the "group of death" of all groups! But they still have to improve if they want to reach the final and maybe even become European Champion. The quarterfinal against Greece could be similarly tough as tonight's match against Denmark. Kudos to Denmark who delivered a courageous performance at this EURO! But dear Dutch team -- what was that? Nothing worked really at this EURO, and the role of being one of the tournament's favourites was obviously a total exaggeration. I really don't want to be a Dutch supporter now -- it must be depressing to know that one's team played that far below its potential. Portugal is a decent quarter-finalist -- even if I can't stand the thought that Cristiano Ronaldo brought them there tonight.
Faster
I certainly thought the games would be more attacking today. van der Veart was unlucky not to have had a second goal.

stark
Löw should give Götze more time to play against Greece.
Rob2012
UEFA confirms that the German FA (DFB) has been charged over the behaviour of its country's supporters during Sunday's win over Denmark: "The DFB is charged with the setting-off of fireworks and the improper conduct of supporters (display of inappropriate banners and symbols, and inappropriate chanting)." Confirmation comes after FARE - the anti-racism group working with UEFA at Euro 2012, tweeted: "FARE can confirm that one of our observers reported a neo-nazi banner in the German section at the match v Denmark in Lviv on Sunday." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/18500690
