Thank you so much :D ! I appreciate it.

Here it is - I hope it works: http://www.sendspace.com/file/b0wa3u

And don't get distracted by the file name - I wanted to choose something not too obvious. ;)

Oh **** - wait! I just noticed that you have to download some fishy "setup.exe" file there. Apparently not a reputable website... I will have to choose a new one. So DON'T DOWNLOAD IT!

EDIT: Alright, I checked it again. You have to avoid all the other "Download" buttons and have to click on "Click here to start download from sendspace". Then you will download the actual .flv file.

The other download buttons are apparently from some fishy companies advertising on Sendspace. Cleverly done.

^^ I didn't had much trouble with the .exe files :P but thanks for the warning, and thanks for the vid :) I suggest you use Mediafire or Rapidshare next time. Those are some of my personal faves.

As a Brit and someone who admires the Queen, I have to say I would be extremely suprised if she agreed to 'act' in a film for this! (Not to say I wouldnt love it though!)

It just goes against her whole attitude for her whole life. She is never interviewed, never comments on political situations, never gives her opinion on things and never likes to be involved in anything which may 'commercialise' the Royal family from what I can tell. She rarely even lets cameras film her for documentaries!

So this would be very out of character for her. Although I may be totally wrong, and I hope I am!

That's why it would be so special and so exciting if she did agree!

^^ I heard some officials and referees won't be marching with the athletes during the parade, in order to speed it up.

Hooray.

Instead of walking in maybe they will come in on segway scooters :D

I wonder if they'll put the athletes on those motorized trailers that the beds are on for the NHS sequence. It's a bit odd, but it would speed things up.

This picture makes me really hopefully that at least some parts of the ceremony will be amazing....

It's clean, stylish, modern and just how I believe London should show itself on a world stage......

I would also like a Sydney style Opening Ceremony....I really liked how they composed so many well written songs with genuine emotion.....i think that makes the show have a human element to it......

Where Bjork in Athens 2004 was slightly strange......But "You & Me" in Beijing 2008, brought the modernity and human emotion together, making the show outstanding.....

Apologies if this has been discussed, but apparently there is a secret device to help the athletes moving along at a respectable pace?

My theory: As the athletes walk in thier flag will appear on the LED's and will move around the stadium with them. They will naturally want to keep up with the flag for video/photos and so will move with the giant flag!

Just a theory, but I reckon it would work!

Cool idea, but I'm not sure it would make them walk faster....

I will be attending the Final Dress Rehersal tomorrow Night (Wednesday) and I for one can't wait, I am so excited by what I have read and seen in pictures, it truly looks amazing, I will not be comparing it to any other Opening Ceremony because as someone pointed out that is like comparing apples and oranges!!

Lets enjoy and see what Danny and the team have to deliver...I will give feedback tomorrow night!!

My seat is in Block 106, row 4...which is right beside the 100m track, so I wont get to loads like others further up but will enjoy the experience nevetheless!!

Hello everyone! A lurker for a long time, but haven't posted ever. Wondering if there was any mention of how the "moat" around the isle will appear? In the model that Boyle showed, it almost looks as if it is luminescent blue, to create a water effect. I didn't see anything in the leaks that show any sort of color in that area.

Apparently the Queen is also appearing in the video - and (allegedly) commissions James Bond to go to the opening ceremony. I read somewhere that this will be the first time ever that the Queen appears as actress somewhere. The old gal is still up for surprises! ;)

She's boning up to play ACTRESS: The Helen Mirren Story or THE QUEEN'S SPEECH -- whichever gets funding first. ;)

No dress rehearsal on Thursday? I'm surprised.

Will this be one of the shortest ceremonies? i really hope it doesn't feel rushed. i dont mind the athletes parade taking a while, at the end of the day its one night every 4 years and its the athletes moment.
