Stadium progress

Recommended Posts

Brasília looks very impressive with its high, steep stands and that ring for the roof, reminds me a little of San Siro. Definitely my favorite so far. Belo Horizonte is also nice with that 50's-60's retro look but Fortaleza and maybe also Recife seem like quite generic modern stadiums.

My least favourite is Brasilia, but still like it!

That's what impresses in this world cup. Even the least interesting stadiums in the opinion of some, don't come to be ugly. The previous world cup always had very simple stadiums as Rustenburg in 2010 and Nuremberg in 2006. The 2014 world cup will be one of the best in terms of stadiums.

Why is Brazil building/using only 12 cities? The Cariocas para Chicago group wants 25 new stadia!! Who cares what FIFA says!!

It must be 25 new stadia to show the world that Brazil is the NEW superpower!! Only 2 games per stadium.

And I want up-to-the minute reports on all the stadia!! GB Brasilenos, get to work!!

Brasilao para sempre!!

I am very unpleased with Mineirao's new roof. On renders it showed that itd be clear now they came with this ugly beige color. According to sources it's a Translucent material, I have no idea what that means but this color should fade and become whiter exposed to the sun within time. It's hard to believe
