Thats amazing...so annoying New Zealand missed out this time...and it's entirely the player's fault.

Yeah, Canada is ranked ahead of you guys now. That is SAD.

Totally...kind of annoying that the Premier clubs wont release our players for important qualification matches BUT still no excuse for the just plain bad behavior last year.

Change is having an effect at the moment so we can only build from there.

It's good to see the stadium like this after that terrible accident. I even thought at the time that São Paulo would be out of World Cup

The roof is done. The revestment will be not finished to the WC. The structure will be visible is some parts.

The glass part of the roof won't be ready too because Corinthians, the owner club couldnt find a supplier of a kind of glass that never gets green.

Corinthians supporters hates green because it's the color of their main rival called Palmeiras a.k.a. "The big green".

Corinthians indeed asked FIFA to put blue artificial grass in the pitch to not have green in the stadium. Of course FIFA denied. In the end they chose a very dark green grass to resemble black, color of Corinthians.

For this and other reasons, Corinthians is the most hated club among Brazilians who does not back them.

What happened Alex? Did the players not even try?

Changes in the team and they really needed to replace management's structure. As mentioned an awkward playing schedule and lack of games also seemed to be in play.

During qualifications for this year's tournament most of our best players simply couldn't get back to NZ in time for Oceanic round matches. Ended up losing to Solomon Islands and set off the wrong Fifa Conferderation path to follow for qualifying, we got stuck with Mexico!

Wasn't FIFA rushing against time because of the grass in Maracana, right, International media?

Look at this, yesterday:

Daily Mail. 2 weeks ago.

FIFA face huge headache with World Cup final's Maracana pitch in woeful state just weeks before hosting first of its seven games

The brown surface is scarred, pock-marked and has had sand added to it

As always, British press is lost on their own reality.

I think we all have something that we've read somewhere years back that angered us and stuck with us and in the end you just want to stick it to them but, being the cowards they are, they either left the boards or changed identities, thus leaving our desires of revenge unfulfilled.

The stadiums look fantastic. Well done.

The questionable branding might even look better in the context of thousands of cheering, colorful spectators.
