Well the media does need facilities to do their jobs, and sponsors need some return for the money they dish out so some hospitality areas aren't too much to ask for. Parking facilities, security facilities, concession and souvenir booths, etc need to be provided for. This is the World Cup, not a common schoolboy soccer tournament, these things are a part of the package.

What are "temporary FIFA structures"? Golden toilet seats for Blatter?

They are those tents that are installed in the surroundings of the stadiums. I don't think you need more than a week to install everything.

Beira Rio Stadium in Porto Alegre won't be ready until 10 days before the World Cup, with Temporary Fifa structures need installing. Full story here - http://stadiumdb.com/news/2014/03/porto_alegre_beirario_not_ready_until_10_days_before_the_world_cup - Source: StadiumDB.com

At least this report is from a website based in Poland...

No sensationalism, recent pictures, accurate information on the troubles of the organization of the World Cup in Brazil.

Keep avoiding British biased media.

They are those tents that are installed in the surroundings of the stadiums. I don't think you need more than a week to install everything.

Actually, it's need 1 month to install eveything as we witnessed before the Confederations Cup

Mods, please can you sort this out. Danny keeps banging on about British press. We get it Danny, stop pumping it down our throats.

Ridiculous, I'm not doing anything out of the rules of the forums... Be mature, and discuss, stop crying.

I'm showing my opinion and facts, use argumentation to answer.

PS: Every single inaccurate link posted here (no matter from where), will be answered by us, Brazilians, with recent and accurate information.

Most of the posts from British media is biased and inaccurate, take a look on the pics Bezzi shown and compare with the pics and information from British media.

Only blind people can not see it...

The Poland news you posted here is an example of accurate information about the troubles Brazil is facing to host the World Cup, and nobody is denying it here.

BTW, British Government is using the World Cup in Brazil to promote the country with really nice campaigns.

This picture was taken yesterday at Brasilia National Stadium

Danny, you keep on and on and on and on with having ago at our press. We get it, you think they are bias. You can't make us think differently.

Danny, I have nothing against you. It's just at least Bezzi doesn't keep on and on about our media.

I have nothing against Great Britain, indeed, it's one of my top places to visit before I die.

But, the fact is: British press is worldwidely known for its sensationalism. I don't need to say more about it.

The thing is: for every single inaccurate report (from wherever it was written), I have the right to show the other side, or, at least, another POV.

Cursed? More likely they've got a tight deadline and corners are being cut.

I'm sure this world cup will be amazing, but it's sad that there've been a few such incidents now things are getting close to the wire.

Danny, this comment I'm going to make is a fair comment, so I don't want to argue with you as we are on good terms now. In all fairness, when that report was released, it was looking as though Beira-Rio won't be ready in time, even Fifa had doubts. Credit where it is due, Beira-Rio did speed up, but the surrounding infrastructure is still not ready.

Not looking good for Arena Corinthians. Part of the Stadium could be closed during the World Cup. Full story here - http://stadiumdb.com/news/2014/04/sao_paulo_arena_corinthians_partially_closed_for_world_cup - Source: StadiumDB.com

That's why a journalist CAN NOT claim stupid things like "This stadium won't be ready for the World Cup", specially 2 years before the event.

The external part is under works, I can post tons of pictures here (and you know I can). The stadium and almost all stadiums are/were very delayed. This is one thing. To claim it won't be ready in time, this is other thing.

It seems British press have no ethics at all. I'm a journalist myself and work for the media here in Brazil. This kind of atittude is not weel seen here, but, I'm not claiming we don't have such atittude from small media organizations. The point is BBC should be responsible for the information they publish... And it seems, since they are based in England and British probably will not check the informations, they can post all the bullshits they want to make pressure on FIFA...

About Arena Corinthians, as I sad before and several times, I avoid to make any comments to anything related to Sao Paulo... Every post I make Victor Mata, Catra and other claims I'm Rio-biased... So, good luck to Sao Paulo and its beautiful stadium.

Works in the surroundings of Beira Rio, the stadium BBC claimed with all letters, it wouldn't be ready for the World Cup.

Will Rio's Maracana stadium be ready for the Confederations Cup?

The project is already behind schedule but officials insist fears that it will not be delivered in time for the FIFA Confederations Cup - which kicks off in June 2013 - are unfounded.

Why do you support Santos if you live in Rio? I thought santos wasn't that of a "national" club.

BTW I think anyone who follows football more or less knows where Peñarol is from, Danny...
