SwissO
Around Games Time you could be able to find the one from the related games for around 400/500 USD, as there is plenty of them coming at that time on the market ! In the past Torch Bearers were able to buy torches at a cost around 300 Euros / 400 USD ! In London apparently it will be at 199 GBP (245 Euros / 325 USD) http://www.london2012.com/games/olympic-torch-relay/carrying-the-olympic-flame/buying-an-olympic-torch-and-torchbearer-merchandise.php

I'll keep an eye out for them on ebay and post them on here. Do Olympic bid books pop up on ebay when it gets close to the games?

Olympic Fan Darcy
Pretty cool torch even if it is a youth olympics, pricey though, but it has interest 3 offers http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Innsbruck-2012-Winter-Youth-Olympic-Torch-Set-Case-Manual-Fuel-/260988056283?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc419b2db#ht_1345wt_1270

At the opposite of the usual Olympic Torch Relay, the Innsbruck Youth One was not a relay of the flame from a torch to another... but a relay of a single torch. To avoid producing a lot of torches, so to save money, they only produce a very few that mostly did the entire relay ! That is the basic relay : That's a very rare one :

Lord David
Worth what? If the Youth Olympics turn into squat in a few years time, then it's just some sort of historical memorabilia, a monument to an attempt for a smaller scaled Olympics style event that just wasn't popular enough to see continue. Here's the torch for the Moscow 1998 Youth Olympics. The first such attempt to try and get such an event to become mainstream and work in a 4 year basis. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OFFICIAL-AUTHENTIC-MOSCOW-1998-YOUTH-OLYMPIC-TORCH-/180871332633?pt=US_Olympics_Fan_Shop&hash=item2a1cc58319

Didn't think it'd be a hit didn't make news here one tiny bit when an Aussie won some medal that's it, then again winter Olympics aren't massive here either cause we aren't that good. Maybe the summer 2010 one was? I can't remember

Lord David
I already got a Torino 2006 one, for half the price the one on ebay is going for. But for an unused one, I guess it's worth it. Made and designed by Pininfarina, an Italian design company, well known for designing cars for a variety of car makers, not just Italian brands.
