Lee
I still love watching the Birmingham interval act. What a performance by all involved.
markun
I don't think you can beat Riverdance but 1995 was also very good, the music is beautiful: I also like the music from 1996, it's very Norwegian and the first part is spectacular but I'm not so keen on the part in the hall
Jonafin
Riverdance was great, but I only started following Eurovision back in 2003, so I guess my favourite would have to be what Norway 2010 did with Madcon and the flash mobs..... the song "Glow" was really good..... Lee
I have been watching since 1984 and to be fair, there isn't much there to pick from. 1994 and 1998 were the best years for me. 1995, 2010 and 2011 were also quite good. Most of the rest were either just acceptable or utterly dire.
markun
The thing I didn't like about 2010 was that it could have been anywhere. That's my main critique of that year's contest. In recent years the interval sometimes seems a bit lost when in the past when they didn't have green room interviews and so on, the contest was much more structured. markun
30 years ago we had this. The film isn't great but I do like the music, Ronnie Hazlehurst was an excellent musical director and the arrangement is great. and here is the opening sequence, I like the music to this too. Very BBC light entertainment. Those were the days
