Lord David Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Did someone buy it? I see the Toronto 96 bid book on abebooks.com as well.I recently got a hold of Salt Lake City 2002. Interesting minimalist bid books, considering Ostersund, Quebec and Sion were not going all out with their bid books too. Quote

Didn't buy it but I did get Toronto in December last year. The one on abebooks sold years ago i'm pretty sure. I remember contacting the person asking and it's sold but they never took the ad down.. There's like 4 different ones on there that I saw, I messaged them asking for photos. One was 200 euro i remember . 2 of the 3 I emailled didn't have the slipcase, the one I bought did and it was cheap too like $70AUD. http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?ds=20&kn=amsterdam+olympic+1992&sts=t 1 Quote

Clunkygirl Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 Hi I found this forum while researching a Brisbane 1992 bid book I have. From the comments I've read on here this may be relatively uncommon? Anyone want to give me a ballpark figure it might sell for please? Can't seem to post the pics but I'd say the book is in good condition. The front cover has a couple of indents but it's still pretty clean looking. I can email the pics if anyone would like to look or post them for me please? Cheers Quote
Clunkygirl Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 Sorry can't edit my earlier post - I have one book, it's the book with the coat of arms, Olympic logo and "Brisbane 1922" on the front. I don't have the "Media" nor "Sports" books. Cheers Quote

thatsnotmypuppy Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 You may not want to find the Milan book. Apart from the set of stadium blueprints that come with the complete set they are very, very dull. 1 Quote

Olympic Fan Darcy Posted December 29, 2015 Author Report Posted December 29, 2015 Questions (you don't have to answer) Is Brisbane just the one book or do you have the 3 setter? The 3 set one was at the Brisbane library but that could be one of the more official ones. Did Brisbane have a case? Which one was most expensive? Which is the worst? What did Beijing look like?
