Lord David
Anywhere i can find Berlin 2000? I have a copy, interesting info, reasonably good bid (plan mostly), but poorly executed bid book.

If I were happy to pay that price, then I should have just tried for the Athens 2004 ones. Wow that is a lot Im sure this yearwill pop up a few bid books as an Olympic year. Not much luck yet though. Hopefully may June July A lot, but a must, I just had to have it.

Makes sense, as yo are a Melbournian (think i said that right) if Brisbane popped up i'd scream and love to have it but would have to fight many people, i havnt even had any luck finding anything Brisbane 1992 related. Yes i doubt its worth it unless the books are really amazing! I'd love to see a bargain!
Lord David
There was that bid related thing a while back. Not the 3 file bid books, but something related to the bid, might have been the initial plan before it was radically changed to include the South Queensland region. tominger
But from Lillehammer he offers just one volume. They released in 1992 a three Volume set (and in 1994 two volumes).

Olympic Fan Darcy
Well my day sucks, the guy i bought the bid book from just said to me postage will cost more, ALOT MORE an extra 74 bucks. Turning me off buying bid books that makes the bid book cost 62 bucks and the postage cost 120ish, defeats the purpose, hope its worth it By the way to the person who said they owned one how much did you pay? SwissO
A Paris 2012 bid book sold usually around 100 USD (125 USD Max). The problems with books (and especially the Paris 2012 one which is 5 kg without shipping packaging) is the weight !!!!!

Olympic Fan Darcy
Let's hope next time i ask before i buy i'm not spending over double the item price on postage, hopefully some pop up in Australia and are cheaper, would've thought more Olympic stuff cause an Olympic year
Lord David
around 100 USD that means i got mine cheap (62 USD) Just for future advice what other ones are really heavy? The Paris one is particularly heavy mostly due to the slipcase they used to put the books in. It's designed for durability. Berlin 2000 is particularly blocky due to their silly choice of deciding to make the books in loose binder form, so it takes up quite some space. Melbourne 1996 is somewhat heavy, due to the large format of the books, but is compensated due to the fact that it's housed in a suitcase, rather than slipcase. Thank you thats really helpful sorry i keep venting but yeah 180 seems alot but apparently it was at a bargain price, i won't be bidding til i see one i really like or is really cheap which hopefully isn't that long. off topic: I frequently check this thread to see if anyone has posted and when someone has i smile (i'm crazy) and then i check ebay aswell

Lord David
^^ Clearly bid related material for the Athens 1996 bid. Every bidding city does stuff like this. Still doesn't beat the 6 bid books and 6 videos.
