mr.bernham 384
Bernham how are the other books coming along? Have you bought any others? I decided not to buy the others and instead focus on getting Beijing, Sydney, Paris, and Sion. Was supposed to be mine! That's awesome! Congrats!!! Haha, I was just looking through it and it's a very nice book, well put together. My brother was just as excited as I was and began taking of the shrink wrap before i got to it today! the pictures were taken right out of the box and then my brother got into it today. Overall though at had some great plans and gave me a few ideas for a bid I am working on for my own city. Not saying who it is...

Lord David 225
What's so great about the NYC 2012 bid anyways? They proposed the West Side Stadium but when that failed, they sloppily put together the Queens/Flushing Meadows idea. Although the location would have made an Olympic Park of sorts, I'm sure the IOC would have wanted to avoid another Atlanta style athletics stadium, where half of the stadium was per-configured to be set for baseball post Olympics. Olympic Fan Darcy 323
It's probably just excitement of getting their first bid book.

Olympic Fan Darcy 323
My Salzburg bid book arrived a few days back! It's a great read and interesting to compare to the Sochi games. Although Salzburg had a really low budget for their games which definitely would have costed more but nowhere near as much as Sochi.
