Made an impulse buy and bought the Salzburg bid books from him :)

Mr Bernham, the seller has the Paris ones at a reasonable price.

Oh thats awesome! Salzburg is one that's very high on my list! Planning on buying Paris and Sion. NYC came in today though: ruqzhl.jpg10oo83n.jpg2880591.jpg2ep0wzr.jpg I love it!

Bernham how are the other books coming along? Have you bought any others?

I decided not to buy the others and instead focus on getting Beijing, Sydney, Paris, and Sion.

 Was supposed to be mine! That's awesome! Congrats!!!

Haha, I was just looking through it and it's a very nice book, well put together. My brother was just as excited as I was and began taking of the shrink wrap before i got to it today! the pictures were taken right out of the box and then my brother got into it today. Overall though at had some great plans and gave me a few ideas for a bid I am working on for my own city. Not saying who it is...

That's awesome man! I'm looking soooo hard everyday to find NYC2012 to join the club! :D

What's so great about the NYC 2012 bid anyways? They proposed the West Side Stadium but when that failed, they sloppily put together the Queens/Flushing Meadows idea. Although the location would have made an Olympic Park of sorts, I'm sure the IOC would have wanted to avoid another Atlanta style athletics stadium, where half of the stadium was per-configured to be set for baseball post Olympics.

It's probably just excitement of getting their first bid book.

Yes, it's the excitement, but I am from the NYC area. I want to see the details and how they could improve for the future.

Same with me, I would also like to own all American bid books from '76 to '16.

I wouldn't go that far, but there are some that I want from the US and some from other countries.

LA 1976, LA 1980, LA 1984, Atlanta 1996, NYC 2012, Chicago 2016.

Denver 1976, Lake Placid 1980, Anchorage 1992, Anchorage 1994, Salt Lake 1998, Salt Lake 2002.

Looks like you'll need a lot of money :P

My Salzburg bid book arrived a few days back! It's a great read and interesting to compare to the Sochi games. Although Salzburg had a really low budget for their games which definitely would have costed more but nowhere near as much as Sochi.
