SkiFreak
^Cool vid. Did they mount the countdown clock in BC Place yet? COP here in Calgary used to have a small decent museum/display in the main lodge for the '88 games, but it's no longer there. However, the Canada Sports Hall of Fame moved onto the grounds (from Ontario) in a brand new building. I still haven't been in there, but I'm assuming there's Olympic stuff in there. I wish they'd do something with the small cauldron that's on site - could use a revitalization/powder coat or something to clean it up. I think they fired it up on Jan 2. SkiFreak
Funny, two years have passed and I'm still acquiring pins. Just recently I got a few Canada Post pins with Sumi doing aerials. Anybody have the Quatchi (moguls) equivalent they'd like to trade for? I'm also still acquring apparel such as hats and t-shirts, mostly at Value Village, but surprisingly, some of the stuff still has original tags on them. Sad the two year anniversary didn't get much recognition in the news, except for this on CTV: CTV: Canada's summer Olympians gearing up for London
SkiFreak
This is a really great montage on Youtube. Brought a tear to my eye: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6HMvTrs5DE Lets get the games back to Canada soon. Either Calgary, Toronto (summer) or Vancouver once again.
