Well, the death continues to haunt the FIL and, thanks to that, Calgary, too. There are "threats" to blacklist Canada from hosting any more international luge competitions because of that death in 2010.

I think the RAV Line was a big legacy to Vancouver and the lower mainland. And look at that convention centre - it has since appeared in The A-Team movie and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
