If London wins the race

How do you think it would make you feel?  Are you very excited about this prospect and how many would consider volunteering for the games; i would definitely like to be one of the helpers/officials in the stadium, as it would be so amazing.  I believe the British people would welcome the games wholeheartedly if we were awarded the olympics and it would generate a very positive feeling for 7 years up to and many years after the event.  It would give the British people something to be proud of and prepare for with fantastic anticipation.      :wwww:  :D    :grinning: - some feelings if London were to be the hosts.

If we win I'm going to cry.

I've already walked around the Olympic site several times, and each time I can literally feel the crowds and that the change is going to spectacular. The area just seems to feel like it's destined to be place of history and achievement.

Over the next seven years I've decided to keep an Olympic diary of photos showing the change that will happen to London and the way it is celebrated. Knowing people who work for the 2012 bid team I reckon I'll be able to get into the Olympic Park whilst it is under construction and record moments in its transformation.

For Britain it will be amazing. London will go through a massive period of inconvienience, especially for East Londoners, and I really do hope this doesn't dampen support for the Games. I also hope the Presss will stay as positive about the Games as they have over the bidding process. A negative Press is what killed the Millennium Dome, and if this happens the results will be disasterous.

If we don't win, I will be upset, but I'll still be there in 2012 whever it will be held. The emotional pull of being involved in this whole biddding process, knowing what we all went through, means I have to be there for the celebrations.

Well if London does win, I'll be counting down to those 2 weeks in 2012, right from the start.   that's 8 years away.  We just wish our lives away don't we, wanting the next big thing to happen NOW!! lol I'm impatient.

Yes, it would be fantastic for all of Britain's residents if London does win the 2012 Olympics.  The legacy and re-developement of the East End, probably the dangling golden carrot, I hope.

I'm waiting with anticipation for the result, and will be delighted to hear Jaques Rogge say London is the winner, and dissapionted if he doesn't say London.

I may even visit Trafalgar square on decision day, to be a part of the event, winning would be amazing, but losing could be horrible.

My heart pounds like mad on these big decisions, does this happen to anyone else. :D
