parisphoto
I mean, if your bid is strong, does it really need to be backed to stand up by itself?

fabfab
how lame and immature you are to even start this thread.... You should post the same message in the Paris forum (see Merciful...).

parisphoto
More proof that the British reputation for humor is unjustified. This is a parodic response to your Merciful Zeus's post on "L'Amour des Jeux". Get a grip! The Olympics are just not that important for you to keep get so worked up about. How about fighting global warming? Now there's something to get het up about.

Robert Henson
What an odd question... Well the 3m signatures generated show it was effective. Unlike Paris, London hasn't bid before, was starting from scratch and needed to show the public support was there. They've done that by beating their target of 1m signatures three times over. MercifulZeus!
He's nitpicking over the spelling, that's all. It's a tricolore. Afternoon all, by the way.
its a bid of magic
I mean, if your bid is strong, does it really need to be backed to stand up by itself? BORE OFF!!
MercifulZeus!
Just to pick up on Parisphoto's original point. Taking his logic to its, well, logical conclusion, a bid needs no backing whatsoever to stand a chance of winning. I support Harare for 2016 then. DarJoLe
'Back The Bid' is only the tagline for the marketing material. 'Sport At Heart' is the main London tagline.
