Istanbul 2020 - Bicontinental Games Diary

Contemporary Spontanious Index

Here on this topic I will try to create a spontanious index of what of wich items I want to put in a/o create here on GB-Forums in the frame of the bidding/official applying of the city of Istanbul for the (XXII) 2020 Olympic Games. It will consists everything in the wider/brighter sense of the organizational capacity/capabitliy of the city, the bid and the colourfull/innovative/creative side of those.

I'm personally ready to get all the questions about the Istanbul 2020 bid/and information beyond to answer them in the possibility that I can. I'm also asking help and support from every single member here to build up this Istanbul 2020 SubForum, especially Emre & Olimpik who are living in bidding City, namely Istanbul.

In this topic I will mention my work(s) about which item I want to bring forward and what can be expect. YOU can also create spontaniously this INDEX of what you want ask & want to get information of OR can share with us your work about a topic that you want to bring forward. Use this topic freely, but not as a long discussion topic whereas we can discuss the item in question in the eventually topics created about the issue.

Last but not least beginning from 1996 I worked a lot to bring together every single piece of information on a boys-dream to support Istanbul as it is the biggest and largest city in the country. (but living in Belgium - The homecountry of the IOC president J. Rogge). I don't want to make an everlasting archive anymore. It time to share the best and the most precious information of my beloved archive.

Hope also that I can also contribute for the up-coming 2 years on the other bidding cities' SubForums. But don't shoot me are bomb me if I give an fiasco answer. I'm ready for Turkey, I'm ready for Istanbul, I'm ready for Games Bids. Let the "Road to 2020" - bidding show begin !!

Experience in past sport events: The FIFA U-20 world cup 2013 in Turkey, the FIBA world cup 2010, the FINA short course world championships 2012, UEFA euro 2016 bid. among others can give Istanbul a great chance, also they lost for 1 vote in the euro race against france. Hope all these can give Istanbul experienve to win this race

U need a Miss Universe or a Miss World contest. See, that's why Tokyo is ahead because They've already hosted a Miss International at least; Seoul and Athens have had a Miss Universe; Brazil is having its Miss Universe in Sao Paolo next week!! London is HQTRS for Miss World!

That's right!! A Miss Universe will help showcase Turkey more and it gives an exciting point of virw of that city.
