Currently Baku Expo Center's exhibition area is 33 800 sq m and if needed there is also possibility to expand it. Since the opening in 2010 it has been always busy with 2-3 exhibitions per month http://www.iteca.az

Btw Azerbaijan has already got 24 Olympic licenses in some 10 kinds of sports and it is expected that until London 2012 the number of licences will hopefully exceed 50. In Beijing 2008 we had 39 licences and we got 7 medals and 1 out of it was a gold medal.

Although Azerbaijani National Voleyball Team could not pass the play-off stafe at the European Voleyball Championship, the latest achievement in voleyball came from Rabita. The club from Baku won FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship

I expect the Expo Center to be used for indoor sports only. Where a MMC or IBC and MPC will be constructed near the Olympic Stadium site.

Alternatively, it could be expanded to serve both indoor sports and MMC.
