Actually, it's very similar: large promenade, small green islands and a live site at the end. The only major difference to the rendering is the absence of colored areas painted on the floor. We're a month of games, less than that of the arenas receive the training sessions and the current appearance , would be acceptable to 6 months ago . The Rio 2016 , need to follow the project and deliver an incredible park , as the project indicated that it would be . All right, have enough mess in the park because it is going through works , but still ... the ash presence is too strong. It's a conceptual view of a project design. And they usually change a lot until the end of the construction. In some renderings they showed colored areas on the floor, but in others don't. So we never knew for sure what would be the final result. It seems that they'll put some Look of the Games banners, Rio 2016 logos, Olympic Rings... and that's it. The Olympic Park is ready. The decpeção is ready. It's incredibly ugly the Olympic Park, is far from the beauty of the design . London many consider a gray city ( I disagree ) was greener . The MPC is located in Barra Olympic Park, in the heart of the main cluster of Olympic venues for Rio 2016. From Japan to BrazilOn Tuesday, the first journalists moved into their new home. Facilities for journalists at the MPC include a centre for media accreditation, a medical facility, a pharmacy, bank, post office, laundrette and even an official Rio 2016 store. When you are at the park in Rio you just need to look around you to be in awe of the splendour of nature. Actually, most places in Rio near the ocean are like that. Rio will soon be just another past part of the larger IOC problem of bloated egos, deception and lies, corruption and collusion with the highest levels of government and industry, criminal abuse of non profit status, cheating, human rights abuses, environmental disregard and stealing from taxpayers for personal profit and aggrandizement. I will admit I have had a lot of experiences with Brazilians that left a bad taste the last few years (oddly it was often while skiing in the states and Canada but also through business). Mostly those were people who were flying high on cash during the boom and I can tell you the arrogance was consistent and repellent, that kinda left a very bad impression. I've never been to Rio but my business was planning a couple exploratory projects there and I was looking forward to go because it would have been on an expense account, then Brazil's bubble burst so spectacularly that all plans were scrapped......and I'm certainly not going to pay out of pocket to check it out. I'm sure the games will go fine, the sun will shine, the aquatic water will look blue and crisp, the flame will burn, the crows will cheer (and boo).....it's time for the games in Rio and they gave their right leg to make it happen. I'm sure Lula will enjoy it from his condo and Tom Bach will probably gain 5 more pounds. No matter how the games go Rio seemed much more interesting before the bid than now. The candidacy of Brazil charmed everyone . But the country was involved in economic and political crisis that has affected the Olympic Games. The games will be good ? Yes! The opening will be good ? Yes . But I think Rio is the most wonderful place on earth I do not agree . I put the Olympics in Rio at the same level of Athens. But without comparison in the organization with London or the grandeur of Beijing. - His experience with Brazilian does not reflect the reality of the majority, but there are several Brazilians in this way ... they surfed the economic boom , now shipwrecked . The Brazilian is a good person and loves foreigners . ALL ARE WELCOME IN AUGUST ! It will not be the best Olympics of all time , but it will be a good Olympics. Some parts of the city that was degrated are now renovated. The transport system had a giant increase since the bid time. The state of Rio is bankrupt (because the loss of oil money). The city of Rio is financially healthy. I don't know who will be the President. The favelas will be dangerous. The other areas will be safe. Some paulistas are still upset that Rio will host the biggest event of the world. No matter what the pessimist Paul says. No matter if will be the best or the worst olympics ever. Rio has changed.
