kevzz
This is the first time I see the Look used in such bold way that it really complements the venue architecture and also a beautiful focus by itself, instead of just a background decoration. By far this is my fave use of the Look so far. I think it works so much better in a large surface with less dense intersecting lines.
Mr Tickle
Does it look like the logo is applied to the concrete wall as he walks up the steps, thats lovely. It looks like the exposed concrete forms part of the shard like backdrop. Its really very nice. So is this filmed in the venue or is this CGI? Yea I noticed the yellow stand-alone logo at the bottom of the wall too, really nice. It's a CGI. The venue is not fitted with this branding yet from some latest twitter pic I saw yesterday
Lee
Well there you go. So is this definitely what we will see at the aquatics venue during games time?
Athensfan
It's neat and clean. I wouldn't go so far as "gorgeous."

TorchbearerAA
So is this definitely what we will see at the aquatics venue during games time? Looks amazing! If this is the look of the Aquatics venue it's after Beijing again the first venue where we can see the look of the Games inside.

Steve10086
I doubt the final image will be the same as in this 'visualisation', but I'm glad the ugly building directly opposite my office in Stratford is going to be covered in a huge advert, if only for a couple of months during the games. <a href=" title="stratford by Steve Haygreen2012, on Flickr"> Oops! DarJoLe
The rings have been unveiled at Eton Dorney. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18780351 (Photo 8) They've been positioned in a very special way.

NY20??
Do they frame Windsor Castle in the distance? Also, the purple at Wimbledon looks a little much. Green would've been nice but I suppose they really wanted to emphasize that the Olympic Tennis Tournament is not The Championships.
Olympian2004
I'm a bit surprised that they have plain purple sidefences in Wimbledon. Where are the intersecting lines and the different colour shades? It looks very bland. Or isn't that the final look already?
adrianme17
I Imagine it's a refined look to fit in with the All England Club's refined nature & colour scheme of green & purple.?
Athensfan
Perhaps the intersecting lines would've been distracting and disorienting for the players? It is plain.
NY20??
Tennis tournaments usually have all types of ads and whatnot around the court, so I don't think the lines would've been a problem. And if they wanted it to be refined and fit in with the Club, they would've done predominantly green barriers with purple accents. Going by the Tennis tickets, it's actually the other way around. Right. I was trying to be charitable. It does seem like ads and logos might actually be less confusing to the eye than long, continuous diagonal lines.... I dunno. It is what it is. DarJoLe
I can't imagine they would have chosen not to put the lines on it, but more an actual logistical issue. Maybe the fabric could only be one colour.
Lee
Several more London 2012 flagpoles were erected outside my apartment block overnight. It looks so wonderful all decked out in London 2012 branding. We have blue and purple branding here.
The Tower Bridge Fox
I went to Granary square behind kings cross today to photagraphthe look of the games but there wasn’t any up yet , Granary square is fantastic though, the Olympic torch will arrive there by canal boat on the 26th It’s a fascinating collection of rail goods yard buildings by the canal , Sounds like it will be an un-missable part of the torch relay I walked from the canal to kings cross station and still no sign of any look of the games. It must be going to be last minuet before the torch arrives from camden market.
