Yes, I understand this is Lloyd's -- not LOCOG. I was responding to Kevzz's comment about cohesion.

While there's some nice carry over for Brits, the characters won't mean the same thing to foreigners. Considering this is the station for the Olympic park, I would've expected a few more Look tie-ins.

I should imagine, with the clean venue requirement, every Olympics has the perimeter and the transport hubs covered in Official sponsors ads.

Whether more "Look" elements will be added around this, who knows?

They do look mighty fine.

Theres a set of Logo pins about to be released that are venue specific using the look colors for each venue. So the Aquatics pin will be Blue with yellow shards. Just another example of how versatile the London brand is. One day hopefully it will get the credit it deserves.

Those rings by the aquatics centre will become a must have photo for hundreds of thousands of people in the park.

Definitely! Aquatics seems to be the only venue with a proper grand approach in entering the building via the two staircase. I love how green and healthy those grass looks. The rains have been doing wonders for the plants around the Park I reckon!

Watching the final yesterday i was thinking they have got one hell of a mountain to climb to get that court up to scratch. Someone also told me they are replacing the seats, I can't believe thats true, does anyone know. Just to add the shard pattern to the courts, is a great idea but surely isn't worth the extra cost.

Is it really to put in the shard pattern onto the seats? I imagine it would be to temporarily get rid of the royal box on Centre Court.

It works...

That was quick!

I thought they would keep the branding mostly green though with purple accents to fit in with the Club's own scheme.

Quick diversion since davey mentioned this: Do you think an Olympic gold medal will mean more to Andy Murray than winning a Wimbledon? Or for any tennis player - which is more precious, grand slam or Olympic gold?
