Athensfan
Things change. Of course. But that doesn't mean LOCOG had no choice other than a white outline of the logo.

kevzz
These tongue-in-cheek drawings by artist Clo'e Floirat are pretty cool http://www.dezeen.com/2012/06/09/drawings-on-the-london-olympics-by-cloe-floirat/
FDLondon
^^ They are fabulous. Would love those on a T-shirt to wear to one of the venues!
adrianme17
Any pics? Davey - was knackered & it was after a 5 hour rehearsal in the pouring rain! So no! But they had bunting - banners and fence wraps - looked good! Will take some on Saturday!

FDLondon
Goes through my hometown tomorrow. My mother and some pals have the bunting ready, a bottle of bubbles on ice and are planning a little party to toast it as it goes past; it helps that it's actually passing one of their homes! Hobart
the Newcastle rings look a bit like something i have seen before....... is it 2012 or 2000
Rob2012
the Newcastle rings look a bit like something i have seen before....... is it 2012 or 2000 Exactly what I thought as well, but they look great, ready for the torch going through Newcastle tomorrow (15th June) http://www.flickr.com/photos/kenfitzpatrick
savas
Look great, althought I think it would have been better if they were white as the black ring isn't to see... Still great
DarJoLe
I think that would have been a bit too Sydney...! Edinburgh got silver ones. I expect the venues will get them in the next few weeks. Which ones though!
IceRings
Edinburgh's are colour. They are silver in Glasgow though. Interestingly (or not) they are silver on the back of the Edinburgh ones. Probably so you can't take a photo with the colours the wrong way round!
markun
Banners are up on lamp posts in East Finchley, north London. Quite widely spaced so look a bit lost. Will try to post pics later.
kevzz
Wow Regent Street is decked out with flags of all participating nations. Didn't expect that, but loving it! Looks great!
Athensfan
Regent Street looks FANTASTIC. Love it.
FDLondon
I'm not sure I like it; it looks really chaotic and Regent St is generally so elegant, it doesn't work for me. I could have seen it along Oxford St but I think Regent St would have looked better with a single theme as it was for the Jubilee. I did actually see this last night and thought it looked messy but would soon be away for the Olympic look - oh well!
Athensfan
I don't mind it. Yes, the colors are crazy, but it's clearly "Olympics only" and the flags play off the white architecture.
kevzz
I like it, it gives the 'world coming together in London' feel
NY20??
It is a tiny bit messy, yes. But a bunch of Olympic flags would've been boring, so this works great.
gotosy
All those flags, fantastic image indeed
markun
I think it looks great. Macao's flag is included but they aren't participating to my knowledge, is that an error? The flag of Malawi is also incorrect.
