FYI Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Yeah, a "sigh" that the Winter Games be somewhere else other than Annecy. For 2014, some say that South Korea slated to host too many international sporting events already, like the 2014 Asian Games & I forget what else they have that year (worlds fair maybe), were part of the reason they lost the 2014 Winter Games bid. The IOC may gave been reluctant to give them yet another international sporting event in that same year.
