Pure facts Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Here is one of the videos used by Annecy in SportAccord. It finally showcases one of the great aspect of the bid: its postcard landscape. <object width="480" height="269"><param name="movie" value="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/video/xi7uwn_carte-postale-sport_travel"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/video/xi7uwn_carte-postale-sport_travel" width="480" height="269" wmode="transparent" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always"></embed></object><br /><a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xi7uwn_carte-postale-sport_travel" target="_blank">Carte-postale-sport</a> <i>par <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/annecy-2018" target="_blank">annecy-2018</a></i> Sorry here is the link: My link Quote

neige Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 I have to say that I don't like very much the Annecy "carte postale" video. It looks like a tourist information advertising...I hope they also showed sport "sport oriented" videos at SportAccord. The Munich "technical plan" is quite good. It highlights the compact ice-park in Munich and the snow park in Garmisch and doesn't show that much its weaknesses: the nordic venue and the long way to Konigsee. I'd like such a video for Annecy 2018 that could show the exceptional Annecy hub environment, highlighting all snow and ice venues (40 snow events and 26 ice events over a total of 50 + 36). And then Chamonix...alpine skiing facing the Mt-Blanc chain, the ice hokey rink at the heart of the village. Of course, it would also forget the long way to La Plagne Quote

Those 2 videos are really great, and hope they could be available soon on the web Quote

mattperiolat Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 Found on youtube once again, an extract of the flyover video used by Annecy at IOC Evaluation Commission, Lausanne IOC members' presentation & some other events : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtsIWxxMogo How has the bid changed since this video was made? Because, as it looks to me, this is not a single city concept, it's two - Annecy and Chamonix. So who is hosting these things? See the problem? Quote
Sir Rols Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 So who is hosting these things? The Evian bottling plant. Quote
mattperiolat Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 The Evian bottling plant. How fitting, given Evian is 'Naive' spelled backwards. Quote
