English Kev
Excellent choice of venue . If we don't win and either Paris or Madrid wins we'll always have TRAFALGAR . Hehehe !
Ripley
I think people should start learning the words to "Always Look on the Bright side of Life! I remeber the assembled crowd in manchester singing that in 1993 when Sydney won.
AtlantaJeff
Sounds like this would be a fun event to attend. Now if only I could find a way to get a passport and free round-trip tickets in 2 weeks. Hmm, what Monty Python song would work if London were to happen to get the winning bid? its a bid of magic
Wow - what a contrasting atmosphere it will be if London does or doesn't get the decision to host the Olympic Games in 2012. I know it will be a thanks for the support regardless party... but still. It could resemble a wake if London doesn't get the IOC nod. I suspect it will be the same for either of the cities though. I don't know myself but ehre are some choices for you: - BRUCES PHILOSOPHERS SONG - I'VE GOT TWO LEGS - KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE - NEVER BE RUDE TO AN ARAB - SIT ON MY FACE - THE LUMBERJACK SONG - THE PENIS SONG - THE SPAM SONG My personal favourite would be 'Sit on my face'! However, I still think that even if we won, 'Always look on the Bright side of life' would be a 'winning' choice...
