Sir Rols Posted March 31, 2011 Report Share Posted March 31, 2011 Okay, as mentioned in the Evaluation Report thread, I'm going to pass the buck on who to eliminate from the 2020 Bid Logo Comp back to you. Frankly, it was just too hard to narrow it down - and too much power on my shoulders to ant to shoulder the burden myself. Basically, then, I have nominated five entries (mentioned in the Evaluation Report thread) that have been given automatic qualification to the final voting rounds. But I'm leaving it to a vote of members to decide which, of the remaining seven submissions, will join those others. Baron has made a late second submission which I dd not have time to give an evaluation for. Let's just say, for form, I like his rawness, enthusiasm and ideas. Thanks for being a keen participant, Baron! Every member gets one vote. It will be conducted as a simple public poll. GamesBids members valid as of March 30, 2011, are eligible to cast a vote. Your vote will be seen by all, and I will rule, with consultation if need be, if any are invalid or from "ghost" membership accounts. The logo with the greatest number of votes will be elevated to the final voting rounds. In the case of a tied vote, I will cast the tie-breaker (otherwise I will not vote). Voting will be open till 7am, April 2, Sydney time, after which I will start the first of the final round voting threads. Please do not campaign or, or critique, the remaining entries in this thread - keep all critiques and comments to the Evaluation Report thread or the original entry submission thread. Failure to follow this will result in me imposing a penalty involving removing one or more votes from the tally of the offending party. If any member has any disputes or comments, please PM me. Honestly, i think there were a good few in that semi who were worthy to progress, but with such a high quality field, in was inevitable that some great submissions would be cut. You all did well.
