SkiFreak
Today I was lucky enough to find the Vancouver 2010 Closing Ceremony program at Value Village for $5. Just curious, does anyone have the opening ceremony program, if so, do you have any photos of it you could post? I'd like to try and track that one down for my 2010 library as well. I just want to see what it looks like so I know what I'm looking for.

memorabilia
Available here on ebay at a very good price http://cgi.ebay.com/Vancouver-2010-Olympic-Games-Opening-Ceremony-Program-/330502109151?pt=US_Olympics_Fan_Shop&hash=item4cf375f7df
baron-pierreIV
The thing with those OC souvenir programs is that they are so abstract from the real thing -- i.e., as part of their secrecy paranoia, they feature NOTHING at all from the show -- that they don't really serve as a reminder of what unfolded that night. Thus you come away with NOTHING. They're just glossy beautiful booklets...that's all. For me, the best ones were still LA 1984 and Barcelona 1992 -- they featured a truer glimpse, more info and keepsake of what went on at the Ceremonies. And that Alan Pauca guy...? Kenadian
The Vancouver Opening Ceremony book was really bland. Black and white and rather cold. No photos or images, except for head shots of the staff and performers and swirly icy graphics. I was disappointed.
SkiFreak
The Vancouver Opening Ceremony book was really bland. Black and white and rather cold. No photos or images, except for head shots of the staff and performers and swirly icy graphics. I was disappointed. The closing ceremony book is better than the opening ceremony. It actually has a section with behind-the-scenes photos from the opening as well as bios of the performers, and what appears to be more text than the opening book. That one on ebay listed for $15 is a pretty good deal. There's only one on the Canadian eBay and it's selling for $97!
Mikehali
I agree with Kenadian. From what I hear and have seen, the opening ceremony book isn't really good. I didn't get a chance to have a look at the closing ceremony book though! I might have to check it out.
