nobase2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 I can't believe they voted this ugly thing.
Rob2012 Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 Still not as bad as their MS Paint logo
baron-pierreIV Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 A stylish tyrolese donkey.. and Bruno! Donkey? I see it as a goat.
nobase2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Author Report Posted December 15, 2010 If you want to see other two mascots that didn't win, click on the link. http://www.facebook.com/Innsbruck2012?v=wall#!/Innsbruck2012?v=app_175200059172963
Rei Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 Donkey? I see it as a goat. Oh, now i see the horns.
Sir Rols Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 Hmmm. I dunno, I find him quite appealing really. But as a cartoon character, not for an Olympic mascot. He looks far too weedy. Does he have a name? I agree with Rob, though. 1000 times better than Innsbruck's etch-a-scetch pagodoa logo.
Ikarus360 Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 *facepalm* Lyo and Merly are way better than this...and to be honest i'm not convinced with the other proposals at all. Aw well, still better than the logo.

Aw well, still better than the logo. I's still rate goat boy better than Nagano's Snowlets or Torino's Neve and Glitz, though.
cormiermax Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 The proposal made by Sabrina Tay looks far better.
Athan Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Mmmh... It reminds me of Phineas & Ferb It's a mascot to laugh at on TV, not to be inspiring, as they want. The proposal made by Sabrina Tay looks far better. Agree.
Olympian2004 Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 @nobase: The first is a copy of the style of Salt Lake's mascots, the second are a hybrid of Beijing's ghost faces and those awful Neve and Gliz of Torino. Oh well, there can really be no denying: We live in an era of mascot cr*p, with only few commendable exceptions. Oh, and there's even something from Vancouver's mascots in the left mascot of the second design. Gosh, those creative people are really creative when they conceive their concepts by mixing up all Olympic mascots of the past.
Ikarus360 Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 ^^ Not mentioning Austrians would probably have complained about the design because it was too ''asian'' just like the vancouverites did back in 2007
nobase2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Author Report Posted December 17, 2010 There was an age limit to enter the Mascot competition & most are not professional artist.
Mau2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 Winter games (in their youth or normal versions) are for brave athletes, this mascot looks so coward and chicken, it doesn't really represent the winter olympic spirit.
nobase2010 Posted March 7, 2011 Author Report Posted March 7, 2011 The new and improve version of the mascot named Yoggl.
baron-pierreIV Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 See photo of the hideous Innsbruck 2012 mascot on the IOC page. http://www.olympic.org/content/YOG/YOG-news-face/YogNewsContainer/Is-it-a-bird-Is-it-a-plane-No-its-YOGGL/ I think Innsbruck is yanking the IOC's chain and those Lausanne gnomes don't know it!
thatsnotmypuppy Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 I love YOGGL. I am struggling to find that ugly 'chalet roof' Innsbruck 2012 logo on their website. I think the IOC have killed it. Also check out the next summer YOG host - Nanging! Nanging 2014?
TorchbearerAA Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 This is a mascot for babies.. not for the youth that's going to participate in the Youth Olypics
