Any sign of these host city logos? I guess they'll just be infills for the block numbers but it'll still be interesting to see how they work that way. Must say I like the fonts & colour scheme, & they're the main bits of this, what'll be on display around the tournament.

The only two cities left, Guadalajara and Monterrey in Mexico have yet to release their host city logos.

How come some of them get to have intricate designs in the numbers, and others have to put up with solid block colours? Seems unfair...it works a lot better with infills like LA & Philly, a bit like London 2012. The World Cup always looks a little awkward though as just a stock image plastered on the middle - I like the idea of using the 2002 representation instead.

If anything that the individual logos look even worse...look at the NY one, does it say anything about NY/The US/ Football?

It is so all cheap and crude.

Well, this WC 2026 logo is a lot more creative than Milano-Cortina's UTTERLY DUMB one, considering they're Italian!  I wonder how many cities first picked Red; then blue -- and then were told they're going to have to raffle off the secondary choice colors??
