It's hard to believe they passed up this stadium for 2026 -- when it can offer a natural turf FOP (a la Sapporo Dome).  I mean this is a better FIFA deal than SoFi.

Spoiler

I am also wondering why they passed it for 2026. By the way, can anyone over here help me in searching for an essay writer online. I am not so good at writing an essay assignment and that is why I am searching for one of the best online dissertation writing services. I have tried to search for it by myself but can't find. Please help me.

I am also wondering. lol

Wonder no more, here's your answer.  They weren't passed up.  Las Vegas removed themselves from contention..

Las Vegas withdrew bid to host 2026 World Cup

Costs Prompted Las Vegas to Drop 2026 World Cup Pursuit

Premature yes, but it`s not as far-fetched as one might think. IMO there`s no sports owner with more clout and business sense than Jerry Jones. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he`s been having some conversations with FIFA. As a longtime Dallas Cowboys fan, his record as GM is garbage, but he knows sports business.

Total costs of hosting FIFA World Cup :
1994 USA: $0.5b
1998 France: $2.3b
2002 Japan: $7b
2006 Germany: $4.3b
2010 South Africa: $3.6b
2014 Brazil: $15b
2018 Russia: $11.6b
2022 Qatar: $220b

Disgraceful!

$220 billion and the lives of thousands of migrant workers.

Seems fake. Anyone who knows how to do a reverse search would probably know already this was posted by someone in Reddit.

Also, the 2023 Women World Cup logo is breaking the mold we've had ever since Brazil 2014 with a different logo style.

Maybe it doesn't mean anything but it might be a hint that FIFA is changing their logo style once more, which makes sense since each of their previous two styles lasted for three world cups each (the stylized World Cup curve logo from 2002 to 2010, and now three logos already with the shape of the trophy since 2014).
