Berlin 36 Olympic TV Film

Recommended Posts

So, while I slowly rebuild my YouTube channel and repost some of my clips I've decided to add the following:

Time Capsule: the 1936 Berlin Olympics

This is a docudrama/movie that Bud Greenspan produced in the late 80s where he spliced newsreel footage and sections from Leni Riefenstahl's "Olympia" into a supposed 1936 TV station's broadcast of the Berlin Games. Whilst some of the studio sequences look a bit dated now and the dialogue is amateurish there are some good scenes. Pl;us keep your eye out for Murray Rose (four time Aussie gold medallist) as one fo the reporters..

There's quite a few parts to the sequence so pleas ebe patient whilst I add them
