mattygs
It's just unfortunate that the bogun mentality of *stick it up the pigs* has come out in quite a few Kiwis in regards to the police handling of this.
baron-pierreIV
Chile, China, New Zealand. It's all in the Pacific plates. Maybe mother Earth does not want to be poked anymore??
Alexjc
NZ's worst Disaster since 1979...There just seems to be a stunned silence around the place. I only really started watching the overseas news channels yesterday thinking we'd get just a passing mention. We were so hoping... The global response is appreciated. I feel for the executive staff at Pike River Coal, especially as the country moves through the 'mourning' phase and enters the 'why' phase and finally, know doubt from end next week the 'angry' phase. The department of Labour is going to launch the largest ever HSSE enquiry and I'd expect it will be a Royal Commission of Enquiry...The most serious investigation undertaking...Thhey WILL leave no stone unturned, even the Government will be lined up, and it can take years to complete! There will be a national rememberance service on 2nd of December and will be screened live on TV. I believe sky news australia will broascast the ceremony. Thanks for your kind throughts.
