mattygs
it's getting a tad long winded. I don't see the mirrors under the aerostat, I wonder if they will make their appearance later - or they didnt have enough time to put them up. Ikarus360
I ask myself the same thing, where did the mirrors go? o.o Or maybe they realized they were not much useful And btw we finally got aerial pics of the JLN Stadium
mattygs
They were supposed to be used even more in the closing ceremony, and were to appear as like a huge chandaleir.
Ikarus360
Now the volunteers run randomly on circles I heard about the chandelar as well, its probably hidden or they will rise it other way The athletes
huaiwei
The opening act focusing on martial arts was fine. The band sequence was just too long. I fail to see its relevance and significance to this event. And now it is still the athletes caught in what looks like a typical jam on India's streets. Ikarus360
I smell speeches..very boring speeches. Kalmadi should just shut up and dont even bother to talk, but i'm sure he will, sadly

huaiwei
Kalmadi was booed again when he was introduced earlier, was he? Anyway they are screening a commemorative video now. It's so lopsidedly Indian, it is more like a self-congratulatory video than anything.
mattygs
ahhhh, carting out the mascot - very popular thing to do in the 80s, it appears this man is singing a love song of sorts to the friendly Tiger. They are riding in on a camped up tuktuk

Ikarus360
Getting boeed is rather compassionate, i think he should be executed for the Delhi shames.
huaiwei
He is still speaking...thanking the PM for "setting an example" by sitting in the normal grandstand instead of the VIP seats. Wow...what example is that? Is he happy that the VIPS had to help fill up the otherwise empty grandstands?
mattygs
This man really is almost trying to stir up boos by the sounds of it.
