A first in Opening Ceremony protocol: apparently an older official of the Pakistani team snatched the flag from the pre-assigned athlete as the team was marching into Hehru stadium as he, a Dr. Shah, felt he had to have the honour of carrying the flag and NOT the athlete. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcIuAFE9RUE The athlete, of course, dared not run counter with the official...but reports were than the POC were looking into the incident. ANother first for these Delhi 2010 Games!!

ANother first for these Delhi 2010 Games!! Actually the athlete did put up resistance and there was a reported "tug-of-war" between them. Still, I would hardly consider this a fault of the Indians.
